By 1901 the family had moved to no. 7+9, but confusingly in the 1900 Kelly’s Directory there were three John Holts living in Westgate. Grandfather in no. 36, John Ogburn Holt snr. in no.9+11 and John Ogburn Holt jnr. who had moved in here with his wife and one child. However, by the census the following year the house was empty.
(In 1931 John O. jnr. was living in Orchard Street, when he was in partnership in a building firm with his brother William George.)
